Woke up early thinking about some of yesterdays posts and AA in general.
Anybody is a member when they say they are. Why is it some guru's don't feel that way?
For our group purpose there is one ultimate authority-- a loving GOD as he may express Himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants; they do not govern.
Why is it some groups don't even have a business meeting?? They announce it, but never seem to have it? Group consciense ? Is this AA?
Gotta let the dogs in, her they come ,they think I need a bath with there tongues. Get away!! get away!! Oh come here I love you guys, what would I do without you?
Back to thinking out loud.
Why is it some one starts a group? Is it because it is needed or because they need to impose there will?
How dare I ask?
A man shouts out, We don't do it that way here in AA.
Do we jump up and do THIS when the chair person dosen't call on you?
After someone shares there experience strenght and hope. Do we tell what we think that person meant?
I understand just fine on my own.
Do I need a Guru to explain it?
I love it!! This is how we do it here!! WE ???
Who gets to play GOD today?? HA HA!! GOD!! Does it say GOD in the Big Book?
Where Am I going with this?
Just thinking----About how I use to let people and things get under my skin. People telling you what to do!! There way or none!! These are the things that drove me out of AA the first time> More like I let them drive me out.
Defiance is an outstanding characteristic.
I have a lot of choices today and I have to let things roll off!!!
Of course this is for this Alcoholic. Isn't that the point?
There were programs or movements before AA, where did they go?

I just refer to Page 164 of the BB, I love it.
Our book is meant to be suggestive only. We realize that we only know a little. God will constantly disclose more to you and to us. Ask Him in your morning mediation what you can do each day for the man who is still sick. The answers will come if your own house is in order. But obviously you cannot transmit something that you haven't got. See to it that your relationship with Him is right, and great events will come to pass for you and countless others. This is the Great Fact for us.
Abandon yourself to God as you understand God. Admit your faults to Him and to your fellows. Clear away the wreckage of your past. Give freely of what you find and join us. We shall be with you in the Fellowship of the Spirit, and you will surely meet some of us as you trudge the Road of Happy Destiny, May God bless you and keep[ you-----until then.

i understand what you are trying to say. alot of people with alcoholic behavior who only thought that just by not drinking they are alright. the traditions are so vital even in some ways more than the steps--because with out the program there would be no experience strength and hope because there would not be a place to hear it. just control issues and fear of change, and we all know what happens when an alcholic stays in a comfortable place, the growth stops. you and i know what it is meant to be not by humaness but by the devine power are we to be guided. that is what is missing and that is a damn shame. attraction not promotion is where we have the message of the program and the faith that that will always prevail. have a blessed day.

Keep it simple and easy does it? Oh God!! Thats a hard one.:)
But--gotta do what we gotta do.
Im going to pick out something small today, and analyze the "H" out of it. Hafta go with whats familiar. By the end of the day, I should have another pile built. hahaha.
Be happy? Not used to that stuff. Gotta live on the edge.
Time to get the day in gear. Lets see now. Im bored. Think Ile see who I can peeve off today.
Shouldnt be too difficult for this alky. hahaha Im a self centered--and run riot. Only problem with it all, I keep running into myself. And it HURTS.
