My first sober New Years eve in as long as I can remember. My wife and I are playing the Wii and having a good time. It turns out I have no balance. Hope everyone else is doing something fun tonight!

Happy New Year Supercub! This is my 5th sober new year and I last night I was reflecting on this. It still feels kind of strange. It's not my "normal" state. But, getting sober and working the Steps have been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I feel really good this morning. No head ache, no sick stomach, no wondering what I did and no feeling shame and guilt over the things I do remember. The New Years have also taken on new meanings!!! For me, today, it a chance to do a little better than I did on December 31st.
Happy New Year! I saw friends last night and was supposed to go for a lovely long walk today but cannot get out of bed due to a nasty cold. Blech. I've got some DVDs at least.
