"The most satisfactory years of your existence lie ahead." That's sure been true for me. But when I was first thinking about life without alcohol I thought it was all over. At the very least I thought life would be unsufferably dull. But at least I wouldn't have the obsession with booze and all that came with it. Boy, how much more than that it's been. Ups and down for sure ... but never dull. And finally really living.
