the SC state convention went well. heard some excellent speakers and really enjoyed being around all sober people. was a very relaxed atmosphere. it was real nice to have my guard down in a big crowd of people, i usually get uptight and clostraphobic. comes from isolating most of my life.
also on our channel A&E there was a new show INTERVENTION. just started last night and it spends time with people getting high &/or drunk. (there are scenes of actual usage of drugs and not real good to see if you are first getting sober) Found it was more into the chaos than the solution but did give the familys the DISABLING aproach to the problem. what i did like was it showed upper middle class of people that had become addicts. i mean that i hope that it reaches the earth people who believe that this disease discriminates. it was on at 10p sun. if you have a chance to watch it next week let me know what you think.
