Well, sometime in the next couple of hours, it will be 12 months since my last drink. I want to say a big THANK YOU to everybody here for being here for me. Without this message board and especially all you people on here I wouldnt have plucked up the courage to get back to meetings after being back out there for a few years.
I havent posted here for a while due to problems with the use of my arms from a flare up of my muscle disorder but I am here reading virtually every day and keeping up with whats happening with everybody.
Its not been a particularly easy year but I am so grateful to be here and sober and most of all alive.
CONGRATS ON ONE YEAR!!! What an awesome achievement and you should be so proud. Sorry about your health issues but love your spunk in being grateful you are here today!!

My day was announced and celebrated at a large open meeting at my home group and I was asked to do the first share. Very nerve racking infront of so many visitors but I got through it, even if I did look like a beetroot by the end of it.
Thanks again all for being here for me and keeping me sober one day at a time.
