I always had preconceptions of what meditation was (and wasn't) and dabbled in it for quite some time. Steps 2, 3 and of course 11 rely on a higher power and I love meditation for this. I've come to the conclusion, with much humility I might add, that having proper instruction is the way to go. For any that have not found a good source, here is a link to a good one (I think)...I got all the podcasts through iTunes but you can get them from the site itself too....anyway, for information purposes only! Namaste.

Cool site, but way too complicated for me............My meditation consists of reading the Daily Reflections then considering what it means to me and how it applies to my life....Same thing with prayer. I ask, then I wait........
(((hugs)))

Hi scott Namaste....my boss always ends her emails with that! Very cool! My good friend ann in the program started up a meditation session on sundays. I missed the first two so decided to try it if she does it again. It comes with a book and tapes and if I think of it will post the info....
Whatever works for you I say!! Hope all is well!!! Where the heck have you been!!!!?? You are missed brother!

Hi guys, thanks for the kind words. I've been fine, keeping busy with family and stuff. Lost track of my sobriety date, so that is good I guess,LOL. I am so happy with the way things are going in my recovery these days, I don't want it to end. I, like all of us here deserve to feel good right?
Scott.... And yes...namaste
