It's been awhile, but I thought I'd drop in. Got the internet back and so here I am. smile Alot of adjusting has happened and kids are doing ok, son has moved out at the end of October.
Alot has made a difference since August and still out of work, but that is ok. A situation came about and well it's personally opened a can of worms for me. Dealing with it with the tools i have learned and well, be glad when it's come and gone.
Workin on a few other things in the mean time and going to meetings, staying close to my higher power and to those whom will help me through this tough time.
Hope all is well with everyone and thanks for being here, went to a meeting to nite and wellllllllll, didn't make me feel better. It helped.
Tina, hope you can find work soon, I know it is rough out there right now. But you have a prayer going up for you right now.
I too went to a meeting yesterday, and "bliss" did not fall out of the sky, but I know by now that if I keep coming back, things do get better. I just liked being "out of myself" for an hour!! There are many hidden blessings of an AA meeting, and that is surely one of them!!

I know things may feell tough right now, at the same realize at some point they got to get better........ When happens and it will, it will makes us all stronger. In the AA program, that's what keeps me going. thank you
Welcome back. Hope things look up for you soon. I love my study meetings, but just can't seem to emotionally latch on the speaker meetings. But...just keep going.

Hi Tina, Glad to have ya around once again. Glad the kids are doing okay. Hope your son is still doing well and on the right path even though he moved out. I feel so sorry about you not being able to find a job. It truly humbles me. I sit here and wonder at times 'how will I ever keep up?' (with the paycheck I bring home.) Yet I've learned so much from the AA tools. And GRATITUDE is one thing!!!!! Hang in there kiddo sooner or later......it will all turn around. Wanda
Hi Lori, Wanda, from Illinois. "LEARNING"! And with each day that pass feel as if I've grown so much. Glad to have you aboard. It's a great bunch, that you will learn will be supportive and help where we can, if we can.
In times like this I'm so full of graditude, my son is still doing well and daughter is doing ok. Considering the events with in the last few months.
I guess this is what you call humilty, maybe not, but either way there is a brighter side to things.
I start back to work on Friday, not what I was expecting but it's a start. Feel Like I've been through the ringer, lol. But managing to get through it. Prayers and thoughts are always appreciated, I've prayin for those around me who need it more than i do.
