Howdy do all.

My name is Chewbaca and I be an Alcoholic, and new to this forum.

Just glad to be around and find this forum as the AA action in my life has slowed to none due to:
*Work having me stationed in very Rural locations in NM.
*Current job has AA attendence be conflict of interest of sorts.

A little more 'bout me.

Got sober in June of 1987 at the age of 20 and been lucky as hell ever since.  Ain't had a drink so far.  All I can say is that sobriety has provided me with a very eventful freakin' life.  Glad to be here with y'all.

Hi there! And welcome to MIP

I'm Jennifer, alcoholic in S.C.

WOW! In 1987 I was 21 yrs old and 'just getting started' good in my drinking career. Took me till 2005 before I'd had enough. weirdface

I'm glad you're here and I look forward to your sharing your ES&H with us.

Thanks all y'all! It's pretty cool to go on a forum and be welcomed in a sincere manner. There ain't many meeting in Grants, NM where I'm at. The few that exsist I don't go to cuz of conflicts of interests with me job. But a friend and I are starting a young folks meeting next week so I'll be hittin' that one regularly. Usually I'll go to Albuquerque for meetings cuz if meets is what ya' want, there are around 300 different meetings a week in the Central Rio Grande area.
I was in S.C. a few years ago in Charleston, cool town. I wish I had more time to explore there.
