Hello, My name is Lori and Im an alcoholic. Sober by the grace of God and the life changing program of Alcoholics Anonymous. I live in Michigan and I am self - employed. I have 2 grown kids and 2 grandkids that I get to see on a regular basis.
Im also involved in Alanon with a garden variety of alkies/addicts in my family. Hubby stopped drinking when I sobered up and Im truely grateful for that.
I like anything to do with the outdoors. I enjoy bird watching/feeding, gardening, reading, motorcycling and travelling. I am involved in several different civil organizations in my community and Im a regular church goer.
My home group is the Back to the Book BB meeting on friday's at 10am. I am also GSR for this group. I have a sponsor and I sponsor other women. I am happy on a regular basis and that is something I could not acheive when I was drinking no matter how hard I tried.
God keeps me sober on a daily basis and He puts all kinds of different ppl in my path to help me on this journey of sobriety and life. What a ride !!
