I stopped following all together when Hillary dropped out. I never vote, but this year I was gonna sign up and vote so I could vote for Hillary. I think she would have been wonderful! The 2 , as you so elequently said, are jack asses so I am just not even paying attention.
Frustrating, isn't it? The Democratic Party called me the other day. I was just watching the news about the bailout passing - and the wooden arrows - and rum - and all that other crap. Poor guy on the other end got an earful. He called for a donation and I gave him one - that is for sure!!!
I said - "Obama is not getting my vote - he voted for the bailout" - and the wise boy on the other end said "Doesn't matter it was going to pass anyway."
My response - "Well if HIS vote doesn't count - then my vote definitely doesn't count and he won't miss it!!!"
Haven't watched the news since the bailout passed...with all it's sweeteners. What a load of CRAP. Let's not pass it at $700bil, but add on another $150bil of absolute crap.. and sure, no problem! You would think we would get a say in what our money goes to. Our reps were getting 100 / 1 against the bill from their constituants - and yet they passed it. How can any other country respect us if our financial system can pay their CEOs $45mil / year - Loose their customers $87mil in the same year, drive the company into the ground, and then have the tax payers BAIL THEM OUT. How can we look at any crooks in our society and judge them or prosecute them when our government is NO BETTER!!! Great leadership.

Ummmm.....so what was that again.....taxation....representation......hmmmm just can't seem to remember.

Did you see the news article about how FannieMae generously decided to actually forgive the mortgage of a 90 year old Ohio woman?......but only after they had sent sherrif's deputies to evict her from her home that she had lived in for 35 years, and the deputies heard shots from inside the house, and found her critically wounded in the chest from 2 self inflicted gunshot wounds! I guess any 70 and 80 year olds trying to survive on social security who don't try to 'off' themselves in dispair are still good candidates to get the boot.
when i was 7 i was at the table of our huge family party, cousins uncles and aunties, all up about 45 people, they were moaning and whinging about which party had won the election back then, by the way this is australia, some of the people in the room were dentists, bankers, stock agents, the army, and our live in house maid from holland, all ive ever heard in australia on the news over the next43 years after that party lol, is the opposing party trying to convince everybody that they are the ones who should be running the country, i really dont take much notice of the govt apart from voting when its time. i have more pleasure from listening to hundreds of budgies in the wild than all the budgies in parliment wanking on all day , about climate change and global warming.
