Ah ha moments...

Have you ever had the experience where you're sitting in a meeting and out of the blue you feel like the cotton has been pulled from your ears and suddenly you can hear what's being said clearly enough to really understand it? When everything that's read seems to make perfect sense and you can relate to everything that the people share instead of being too wrapped up in your own head, thoughts and feelings to make any connection? Ever happen to you? Well it happened to me tonight and, while I'm not certain, I think I may have experienced what you humans refer to as "hope"...it was quite unsettling.

Are these "ah ha" moments for real? Should they be considered of any significance or value? Or am I just being a pink fluffy cloud hugger?

They are VERY for real -- they're what is known as a spiritual awakening.

Ride that pink puffy cloud as long as you can, just be aware most of us fall off at some point and that's where a sponsor and the steps help us to get back on.

Meeting makers make it!

You are on your way, man! Tooooo friggin' cool!

Have you ever had someone say something to you and you slap your forehead with an "I knew that!"

That means someone told you once and one of a few things happened.

They use $25 words on a $10 word person - too technical for you to understand
You didn't like the answer and so you didn't "accept" it - see my sig.
Or you simply forgot that you really did know it.

In AA, once we finally start breaking down the walls we've built up around us to "protect" us, the answers start flowing on in.

And what a RUSH it is ... Enjoy it! Go with it! Wallow in it .......

I won't say it's going to go away, but it is a good likelihood. If it does, don't panic, another "pink cloud" will follow, when you are ready for it.

You are beginning to realize that people in the meetings are not talking about you, but about themselves, and in that, we all have something in common, and you are accepting it.

Like jonijon1 said: You're starting to hear the Language of the Heart.

Or as you say: one of those "Ah Ha moments!"
Now learn to listen with your heart too.
