Short Term Memory Loss

Ive been sober a little over a week.  Yesterday I couldnt remember things I was abut to do or say.  Its like I was having mini black outs.  It is scary.
I am going to my doc today hopefully he can help me.
I was just wondering has this happend to any of you???????

I am going through a similar experience, with severe headaches. This always seems to happen the week after the big bottom out. I usually find that time is what makes a big difference. Also I can be tricked by my severe symptoms to medicate myself with the bottle. I can allow the sad condition of my body to eat away at my self-esteem. This is where the group comes in, reaching out, seeing others walking the path of recovery. It gets me through another day. Thanks for sharing! Noah addict
