Daily Reflections ~ Openmindedness

We have found that God does not make too hard terms with those who seek Him. To us, the realm of spirit is broad, roomy, all inclusive, never exclusive or forbidding to those who earnestly seek. It is open, we believe, to all men. AS BILL SEES IT, p. 7

Open-mindedness to concepts of a Higher Power can open doors to the spirit. Often I find the human spirit in various dogmas and faiths. I can be spiritual in the sharing of myself. The sharing of self joins me to the human race and brings me closer to God, as I understand Him.

(Let it be a God or Higher Power of your own understanding)

Was speaking about this exact thing at work last night. My fellow employee said her husband said she was close-minded, especially about religion. She said she had a hard time accepting anyone else's opinion regarding religion if they werent "christian"...

My comment to her was "you'd be surprized at what you might learn. You dont have to agree with them but there might be something you have in common..."

She was a little receptive to that!!llol

My own thought is : you need to believe in something, wholeheartedly, whatever belief you choose! Thats the beauty of choices!!!!

I know where and who my HP is and am always willing to listen to others concepts!!
