Suggestions on Spontaneity??

Surprise, surprise world....... since I am the new girl on the block at work, and semi-full-time (PRN), I get the next 6 days off, as one of our prescribers has her wedding/honeymoon starting this weekend. Sooooo.... Dean, are you listening? I want to make a list of maybe just a couple of things I will do over the next 6 days in an effort to do something spontaneous instead of devoting the entire week to endless projects around here and trying to do them to perfection. Have to break the cycle here, so what are your suggestions?

They can be inside or outside activities, simple, and preferably free or close to it.

I have a river, a trail, a dog park, shopping centers, and coffee houses close by. I like to canvas paint and snap photos and make things. I am even willing to do some PHYSICAL ACTIVITY!!!!!! Yes, indeed.

So here goes.. I am counting on you guys to help me with this!!

One thing I plan to do is transplant some flowers from the back garden to the side of the house. Does that count? I suck with plants and I have always killed them in the past. Think I can handle it this time???

OK... your turn....

KAYAKING?????????? Uh..... no.

Yoga, yes. Will call my friend who goes and sign on for monday night. Only $5 too!!

Teach Scouty to catch a frisbee at the dog park... sounds good. I will need to let her run off steam for a bout 2 hours first, so she can FOCUS.... lol

Walk in the woods with Scoutyt... there is the Gorge Park close by... all kinds of trails and rock formations made by the glaciers long ago... and I have NEVER taken my dog, not once, and it is only 1/2 mile away!!! How pathetic!!

OK girls... your turn!!

My dear old Granny....Bless her soul..

Used to have a saying...

"If it feels good? Do it!"

Always tried to live by that...ehhh

Near death experiences?  Yup.

Almost got me killed a few times...if yu get my drift. :)

Life  is short.

Live it!!  Enjoy it!!  And carry a big gun.

LOL................ I went on a very long walk through the city today with my doggy. Then I contacted my frined about Yoga on Monday night and we are going for sure!! Then, I went to a meeting at a dry club I have not been to in years. THEN... I stopped by and saw a sober girlfriend at work, whom I have not seen in a long time either. Had a lot of fun today, and played it by ear. Not quite skydiving or shooting mooses (meese? Phil??) yet, but easy does it, right?

Definitely a manicure AND a pedicure. Preferably candy apple red.

Go see Iron Man!

Get a copy of Victoria magazine (not Victorias Secret)- filled with lovely pictures and articles(good reading during the pedicure) smile.gif

Wow beachgirl!!!! Lovely and relaxing ideas!! I think I will pass on the manicure, as I cannto wear nail polish at work (medical field) but a pedicure sounds awesome for these tired old feet of mine!!! They do look nice, once properly cared for, and it is sandal season soon.....

I have 4 tattoos of my own, thank you, so no more!!! LOL

I think I have seen Victoria Magazine... isn't it full of decadent decor and such? Sounds like a fun purchase. Maybe I will head to a magazine/book shop. Have not done that in awhile.

I know, Dean..... LOL you think I am whimping out, right??? Hahahaha
