Good Beginning

In this book you read again and again that faith did for us
what we could not do for ourselves.
We hope you are convinced that God can remove whatever self-will
has blocked you off from Him.
If you have already made a decision, and an inventory
of your grosser handicaps, you have made a good beginning.
That being so you have swallowed and digested some
big chunks of truth about yourself.

Thought to Ponder....

If I have the courage to begin, I have the courage to succeed.

Big Chunks of Truth about Joni:

I am a perfectionist
I whine a lot
I am selfish with my time
I worry a lot about dumb American-Life type stuff
I wear a Happy-Face like a mask in public
I don't take very good physical care of myself
I do not get to enough meetings (SLACKER)

I am generous with "things"
I like to make people feel good about themselves
I like seeing people get sober and happy
I love God and I talk to him more now than ever before
I am very good to my husband and my pets
i am a good daughter today
