Yuck.

I have been feeling totally wiped out today and in a fog. Just general exhaustion from the new job, home repairs, spring cleanup, and they turned the water off 3 times since yesterday to fix a water-main which burst down the street, so I got behind on all my chores. I had the day off so I stayed close to my bed.

I just got the urge a bit ago that "wouldn't it be nice to relax and forget with a glass of wine this evening..." Something I have never ever been able to do successfully.

So I share this, and stomp out the stinking thinking, and perhaps I will venture to the gas station for a chocolate bar instead. smile Better yet, a candy bar and a hot bath will no doubt take me to a very relaxing place where my cares and stress wash away and down the drain.

We got a Nintendo Wii the other night and I have not yet played. Perhaps I will beat the crap out of the boxer on one of the games a little later. LOL

Thanks for listening, and I will not drink tonight. God is on my side, and so are you, this I know.

Joni

Actually, I am going to get 5 BIG Hershey's with Almonds, just to keep on hand in the event of any future chocolate emergency.... :o) The evil hormone monster may be upon me....

I'm definitely on your side!  Hang in there, and stick with the chocolate.  Tomorrow is a new day.

WOW!!! A hot bath, a 400-calorie candy bar, and a huge plate of perogies later, AFTER a prayer to remove the obsession to my HP, and I am truly feeling a lot better, and glad to be sober, and just about ready to ZONK....

:o)

Hey- it goes away; ride it thru. Remember how it would feel to wake up tomorrow, knowing you drank. And how relieved and grateful to know that you didn't. I may be new at this but I know that hunger, stress, thirst, boredom, fear, emptiness, anger and even happiness can make me want to drink. If you stay sober, it will look different in the AM... BG
