None of us has to understand God or worry about things beyond our control. We can indulge ourselves in the luxury of not-worrying. Any of us can handle just one day; all each of us has to try at is our own job, our own family life. We don't have to try fixing up the whole world or understanding what no theologian of any faith has ever understood. We simply stop messing in God's business. . . when we stop messing and stop worrying, we have turned our will and our lives over to God (or Good) as we understand (or don't understand) Him.

I needed this one today! Work is driving me crazy! Now that Im comfortable in what Im doing, I have a little more time to "look" around me. Was very absorbed in learning my job and sorta had tunnel vision. My god, can nurses whine!!! Cant stand the drama!!!! Its all good though because I try to stay away from the drama and do my own thing! I tend to try to keep it light at work and just have fun!!! Gets hard when those around you are gossiping, whining and bitching! So easy to get dragged into it! Trying to keep it simple! Auuugh!

LOL.. I know exactly the whining you are talking about, and I can get immersed in it myself quite often!
Let's see.... "Don't Worry, Be Happy!"...
I am SOOOOOOOOO Happy right now, that my hellacious week of clinicals and interviews is OVER!!! Now I do not have to do ANYTHING work related until I feel like it (unless of course I get offered the job).
Looking forward to HAPPILY getting my cupboard-painting project finished. Life rocks!!

Projects are beautiful things to keep in the arsenal of positivity. They are reminders that you can create something good- however small. Mine is gardening, but I am thinking of painting the kitchen this summer (scarey- I've never painted before). Urges to drink come under the guise of many emotions- frustration, anger, feeling helpless, bored- whatever. How much healthier, to master something instead. Keep it simple, to me, means that small things matter alot! BG
If thats the case, my arsenal is overflowing!!!! Better get my "arse" in gear!!!! lol
Hubby and I have been in our house over 10 years and now the time has come to redo all the decorating, etc we did when we moved in! Remembering the brady bunch feel of the house when we bought it!!! Golds, avacado!!!! So, should be fun really! The only big project is fixing the big ass hole in our kitchen ceiling from water damage in the kids bathroom! Thats gonna be huge! But looking forward to some change! Oh, after we finish power washing the deck and staining it! Mind you its huge!!!!
Finished lanscaping and planting in the front yard so at least that is done!
On the bright side, all these projects will keep us busy and away from the partying neighbors!!!!lol
have a great day!
