I swear, I get going through the week, and then the weekend comes, and I keep going all weekend long, making messes and cleaning them up... running to and fro, losing my freAking mind. I am only 4 months past my last drunken episode, and I need to slam on the brakes.... this is how I get, I am a slug for months on end, and then I try to re-build Rome in a month. Being so danged inteNse about everything is wearing me down mentally and spiritually.
Not to mention, my husband is a true workaholic and hides in his job, and does not have to do a stinking thing around the house. NOTHING!!!!!!! The yard is trashed, the gravel driveway is trashed, as he tore it up with his truck during the SNOW storm... has he bothered to take a day off so he can help out a little?? NO!!!! Martyrdom on the job, that is a perfect description of him. Grrrrrrr.... I GO TO SCHOOL, GO TO CLINICALS ALL WEEK LONG, AND TRY TO TAKE CARE OF A 100 YEAR OLD HOUSE THAT IS FALLING APART ALL ON MY OWN!!!!! NOT TO MENTION MY RECOVERY!!!????
I think I am going to take my butt and plop it on the couch tonight and stay there until I go to a meeting tomorrow morning. I am just sick of everything, and most of all, myself, for the way I overdo everything and never get the rest I need.
AAAAAARRRRGGHHHH!!!!!! SOMEBODY HIT ME OVER THE HEAD AND KNOCK ME OUT SO I CAN GET OUT OF 5TH GEAR!!!!!!

Joni, I think you have the solution. Park it on the couch tonight, chill out, and don't think about any of the inside or outside work on your house. Just focus on the inside work on yourself (meditate, pray, watch a movie, plan your next vacation, whatever you have to do), and get to that meeting tomorrow morning!
Hey, Joni~lady x With you, feeling with you, relaxing with you & chilling with you, having a moment with you.. Chill & downtime with you. Easy, Lady :) All is good 1Day@aTime.. Remember to breath & let go & surrender ~ Just for Today.. You're right where you need to be. All of those things will be done when they're ready.. When you're ready..
