Love and tolerance of others in our code. ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, p. 84
I have found that I have to forgive others in all situations to maintain any real spiritual progress. The vital importance of forgiving may not be obvious to me at first sight, but my studies tell me that every great spiritual teacher has insisted strongly upon it. I must forgive injuries, not just in words, or as a matter of form, but in my heart. I do this not for the other persons' sake, but for my own sake. Resentment, anger, or a desire to see someone punished, are things that rot my soul. Such things fasten my troubles to me with chains. They tie me to other problems that have nothing to do with my original problem.

Great post for me today! Holding on to the resentment of my former co worker who I believe screwed me out of my job!! Prayed on it at first, prayed for her as I was told......Actually, did, I thought, let it go! Have been possibly missing my old job and the patients that I just loved!!!! Mad that Im working nights and dont have the great mon-fri job anymore. Mad that I lost money in that deal!!!!
Then....reality sets in! I Lost the job! Knew I was under the microscope and shouldnt have given them a reason to let me go....HELLOOOOO!
On the bright side! I do have a great job and super new people Im working with! Learning alot and getting to a comfort level where I can "get to know and help" new patients! I guess Im right where Im supposed to be.......
