WOW!! great picture Joni. We had a huge ice storm Last friday but actually had a nice week afterwards. See

Joni,
Southern Ill. is right there with you and where I live in C. Il. hasn't been that far behind.
It was a small blessing in deguise that I was victim to one of those flu bugs going around
the week before last. (UGH!) Two different fronts came through....the first one had more
sleet..... I made it to the doctor, got home, and literally slept my way through the first
4 days. Soooooo thankful I didn't have to drive. However, this past week.......if it had
not been for the 4x4 truck (borrowed from my Dad) I would not have made it home! The
highways were terrible! I cut through the backroads to cut travel time down. When
weather is like that I do it because there is ALWAYS those risk takers who drive as if
the pavement were dry!!!! I'd rather take the risk of getting through the hills and hollers
just to avoid being hit and in a pile up. I have to admit though this last one.......there
were a couple of roads I thought to myself....."You're nuts!" LOL ("Jesus take the Wheel"
by Carrie Underwood.......that was me. LOL And how grateful I am for the help to get home.)
I AM SO READY FOR SUMMER! Wanda

LOL... I knew I should never have left FL in January.....

I did get my car dug out today... feeling a lot older than 36 now, as a result!! I went to the store, after being cooped up for 72 hours. Felt good. Carry on!!

I know Phil is laughing at me and calling me a whimp probably, as in Canada, this is the norm... LOL
