Hey y'all, The night I got my birds, I broke my computer... well, the power cord... I was lunging after my cat who was going after my birds, and I pulled the cord out of the computer, something messed up in the cord. I have 2 desktop computers I tried to get working, both are screwed up. So I've been going crazy lately... Wednesday I had some really bad depression hit me, and my "adopted family" kidnapped me, didn't want me alone... Thank God for them... I'm still at their house, going home tonight. Been hanging out with my "adopted sisters" quite a bit, and being around people is helping... I don't handle living alone very well, but I also don't think I can stand to have a roommate... last night my mind was racing and I was thinking how I'd love to just move in here and have a family again lol But although I know if something happened and I had to move out of my house they'd take me in, it wouldn't be right to ask just because I don't like living alone. Me and the younger daughter were talking today and she was like "we could be roommates, you could share my room!" lol
But anyway... I'm doing better, got through that bit of depression... I've started getting into Al-anon more, our group is growing and we're trying to get more structured so I did up our steps and traditions and all that to put in a notebook for us.
I'm also looking into my spirituality more, I'm looking for an Indian tribe to study with... I have Cherokee in my blood but there aren't Cherokee tribes close enough... but with how my spirituality centers around animals my boyfriend suggested studying native american spirituality, his spiritual sponsor is a native american shaman...
Um... not much else going on with me really... I just got 10 months sober... getting close to that year!!! And my boyfriend's already looked up flights for that weekend, he's speaking for my bday, my homegroup insisted on it... and I gotta get on the ball to get my stuff sent in for school... still planning to start in the summer... Anyway I just wanted to check in.... I miss all y'all... hopefully I'll have a computer before too long...
