been busy with the holidays and spending some time reevaluating my life.  trying to see my part in all things of my life.

phil---- seems that you were up earlier than usual.  sorry that you are having a hard time these days.  things are always at their worst when things change.  i always hated to start new routines and let go of the old.  but when i look back on thoes times i did get a better routine and grew more as a person

amanda---hey how are you i sometimes become neglectful when it comes to the boards especially when i have so much to do in my everyday life.  think that it is great that you are expanding your territory and that you are doing well.

and everyone--- else i hope that you all are finding your way on this journey as interresting as i do.

god bless and take care-----love you all

Goodmorning all,

Ellen I know what you mean about getting busy with the holidays. I will miss my Tuesday night meeting tonight as I will be going to my 8 yr old granddaughters Christmas program at school. There has been a lot going on, but  I can still make a few meetings this week.I will be taking a personal inventory again, something I do before the beginning of the New Year, I must find time to do that soon.

I thank God for the program of AA and Al-anon today. And I thank Him for this board, sooooo much wisdom, experience and hope.

Ellen and all have a great peaceful and serene sober day. Let go and let God.

(((Hugs)))

Good morning, ellen,,,,  and all who see this.  Another new day and another Step.  The Steps of yesterday took us into today,,,   we can't do tomorrow's Step yet.  So, I am looking at where I am right now, in the present moment,,,  thanking God for this moment and all the potential that is in it. I do my Step 11, morning prayer and meditation,,,  and then try to do the best thing I can think of to do,,,  trusting God for the rest.  Well, one moment passed already,,, in which I typed this. hahaha..  I guess I'll take the next moment to post it,,, and then go fix breakfast and take a shower. Sound like a good beginning? I better look at my calendar too.

Have a good recovery day, giving your hand to be in the Hand of your Higher Power,,,  and giving the rest of the world to be in His capable and mercifully Loving Hands also.

Hey Ellen!! Good to see you here.

Hard times are getting better Gal!! :) Staying in slow mode. Healing from past. Moving in 8 weeks-engines blowing up in cars--just usual stuff. lol

A few new doors opening. Just letting the Man upstairs handle most of it.

Everything in general is really ok here--Its all a Let Go and Let God thing, and truck on.:) Just for today.

You guys have a serene day. Big Hugs.

How good to come to the board and see you all here.  Thanks to all of you.  I wish everyone a blessed and serene day.  I'm still fighting with a miserable cold, so I'm going back to being a couch potato for the rest of the day.  We're having rain and heavy winds, which is another good reason to be a couch potato.

See you all later,

Alice

Hope your feeling better soon. The couch potato idea sounds like a good plan!

Bye for now.
