BTW, I REALLLLLLLLLLY do LOVE iced tea!  I like it fresh brewed, straight with no sugar or maybe with a little lemon.  I can drink two 12oz glasses with a meal!  Thank goodness that about 99.9% of all restaurants serve it.
(My wife is pretty happy about my tastes as well; I don't even glance at the wine menu anymore.)

As far as I have been able to research, being a Tea-oholic isn't bad for me either!biggrin

At home or work, I keep a few 16oz bottles of diet green tea with citrus on hand for a thirst quencher, which also works pretty well for me.

I almost can't wait for those scorcher summer days, though when I can make a quart of fresh black tea for the fridge, and drink it all in one hot afternoon!

I love it too. We buy the Lipton Diet Green Tea here in Canukistan. I am, however hearing some buzz about Aspertame being bad for ya. Christ, it's always something eh?

I love it too, however being a caffiene addict ( 1 large coffe in the morning) and also being sensitive to stimulants (damn that cocaine in the '80's lol) when I have a couple glasses of tea with dinner it keeps me up at night (hence my late night posts) lol.

I like the Lemon Ice Tea mix when it hot outside, I like Orange Cream Sodas. I still love my mourning Capacino but try to avoid drinking excessive amounts of AA coffee.

Diet green tea with citrus is one of my favorites too!!! Lipton, in the pastic botles, right? Coffee and tea oare chock FULL of antioxidants to!!

I used to drink pots and pots of coffee..... but it required tons of cream and sugar... when I cut out the coffee I lost a bunch of weight, go figure!!! I was probably cutting out about a thousand calories just with the creama nd sugar!! ROFL... if it's not one addiction, it's another... I'll take the ones that keep me out of jail, thank you very much!!

Thanks everyone for the comments!  As I posted earlier on JC's thread, there are so many delicious things available to drink that don't contain alcohol.

And, as Joni says, I'll take the ones that keep me out of jail.

Your right too Scott, that there is always something that nutritionists will say is bad for you, but I have a feeling that my liver will last far longer on diet green tea than on the poison I used to hammer at it.

Being a born and raised southern gal you'd think I'd love sweet tea.....NOPE! Un-sweet for me! No sugar, no artificial sweetner. mmmm, mmmm, good.

As for the Aspertame being 'bad' for ya, that's old news.......It can cause neurological problems, so "they" say.... But who really knows...
