Lani Congrats on 4 months "git-r-done" yahoo! Sorry to hear about your Grandad. Gotta respect him waiting to go out on a full lunar eclipse, that's major style points right there. Prayers going out to your family and Grandmother.
Thanks Deany: That is funny you mention the eclipse! Thought of you and wondered how you were! Full moon and eclipse!!!!WOOOOOOOO! Made my kids sit out in the cold, about 5 degrees to watch it! They cracked me up...all bundled up in their sleeping bags!!! Good memories!
Thanks for the prayers....I agree, way to go grandpa! Only you could relate! My husband thought I was nuts as I mentioned the same thing!!!!! OLani

lani sorry to hear about your Grandpa, my sympathies for you and your family, but i agree, what an exit, if we have to have one
i likedhow youw rote about your boys being outside all bundled up in their sleeping bags, fun. i can appreciate how cute they must have looked, cracking up with ya!
As always, Jen, you have such beautiful and encouraging words for everyone. How true.....yet when we go through life there are those times that we all fail to realize this little gem.
Lani, Condolences to you and your family on the passing of your grandfather. I would have to look it up, but I think it was 67 years that my grandparents had togethor before G-pa passed. Have a picture of them in a small jon boat on a little lake we owned at the time. Decided to have a rather casual celebration for their 60th. G-ma had never been on water. What a classic! She and he holding hands as my AH paddled them around that water. Will keep you all in my prayers. Pooh, pooh on the husband. I had to watch from the window inside as I've been sick. The eclipse was such a wonderful site. The ones I REALLY like are the solar's. They sort of bring an eery quiet and mystery as everything goes dark. I believe it's Aug. this year that we have one.
Thank you all so much for the prayers. I do believe Grandpa is in a better place and he's laughing and running and talking and eating and just plain old enjoying eternity!! You guys are the best!!!
Wanda, I hope your feeling better...Being sick is the worst and I hope youre taking good care of yourself!! Lani

yeah now you'll always remember your G-dad on lunar eclipses, smart guy . As for me, anything that blocks out a full moon is the bomb. It was very cloudy here that night so we couldn't watch it. No major emotional short circuts this time. I watched the last one that was very early in the morning just before sunrise. It was very cool and then when the sun came up the moon never returned and I was happy
