So, Go to my home group early tonight because it was my turn to set up, etc. My meeting is basically behind my house at my old church but I drive around the block to get there. Snowing and cold here you know! So after the meeting, start my car, get out to scrape the snow and my doors lock! They dont lock when the keys are in??!!!!! Lucky for me, I can walk thru the big snowy church field to get to my neighborhood. Lo and behold, a police officer lives right where I exited the field/woods. Knock on his door, he dispatches the police to come rescue me! Had my car not have been running I would have just left it and walked to my warm house! Walk back to the church, had to wait maybe 10 minutes and here come the police to save me!!! Thank you Jesus!!! Dont know why I shared that but I guess it was nice to encounter the police and not have to "worry" that Id be in trouble or have an open container in my car!!!heehee Lani

I fell at my own homegroup last night, trying to get back into my sponsor's car to leave... My FACE caught my fall, and my cheek was planted up against the passenger's window... glad i did not go all the way down, but my neck hurts!!! I think you and I have proven that come rain or sleet or snow, we are willing to go to any lengths to get to a meeting, and to get back HOME!!!
