My "adopted mom and dad" took me to the First Monday sale today, it's a flea market that's been going on here for over 100 years, I've been wanting to go since I moved here but just never went...  so we went for a little bit today, and they took me down "critter road" where the poultry/fowl/livestock is...  oh my god I was in heaven being around all those chickens and guineas, and one guy had a couple of turkeys too!!  I actually was almost crying I was so happy!  "dad" was almost laughin at me for it too  lol  I wanted to take a guinea home with me sooooo bad!  Well "mom" said "here's what you need" and pointed to a baby minature dutch rabbit...  she didn't have to say any more, I got her  lol

My "adopted sis" came up with the name Daisy  smile  So now I got Callie (dog), Lily (cat) and Daisy (bunny)  biggrin

And next month when the sale comes, we'll be past our cold weather, I plan to have a pen built, and use this wooden dog house here for shelter/nesting, and get a couple of hens and maybe a rooster...  And even my boyfriend says I'm justified in doing that as long as I don't go overboard cuz right now I have to drive an hour to get eggs I'll eat...  there's only one brand of "cage free" eggs I've found that really are from free-range chickens, and I can only get them an hour away from here, so a couple of laying hens would be justified...  and a rooster, well, I really want the crowing  lol  but what's one more to feed?  lol

You are sooo crazy!!! I love the picture behind daisys cage! Looks like she's on a farm!!haha!!!!

Thanks Lani....

I know, I'm insane... my adopted mom said she's wondering when I'll build the ark lol but I'm totally in heaven around animals... that's where my peace comes from... animals are my connection to my HP in some way...

I'm lookin into doing some crafts to sell at the First Monday sale too, wood working stuff, gotta get the tools to do it though, but would be a little extra money and stuff...

Oh I thought you meant I'm crazy cuz of getting more animals and gettin chickens next month lol Which I know I'm insane for that! lol

I got those farm prints from walmart and still gotta get frames for them, I've got 3 farm prints and one real country looking cat print lol btw, "santa" in that framed pic with my cat lookin in the cage, that's my boyfriend lol can't see him good in that... but a couple of people from the meetings here call him Santa lol

lol Joni, nothin wrong with you gettin a cute widdle bunny wabbit! lol my bf gave me a little hell for it but they really are inexpensive to keep, so he's not complaining too much lol

Joni she's adorable!!

Callie is my #1 baby... y'all will really think I'm insane, but I'm getting her tattooed on my arm. a portrait of her face. I have a friend that is going to sketch her for me :) Yup, I'm a nut lol
