It's been a while. Still alive, though. I'm retired now, so I don't have any cute stories about work. My home group is back to zoom meetings. we're having pandemic issues again. It is what it is. We either adapt to life on life's terms or we can have our misery refunded to us. On November 30, I celebrated 24 years contented sobriety. I was fortunate that the meetings were still in-person. And, Nancy and I will celebrate our wedding anniversary on December 31 - 22 years. Getting hitched on the eve of the millenium was a smart idea that I did not grasp at the time. If I get old and senile and I forget how many years I've been married, I just have to remember what year it's going to be and that's how many years. Also, if I forget what year it's going to be I just try to remember how many years I've been married.
It's snowing as it should be this time of year. I'll try to come back more often. Enjoy the rest of your year and stay safe.

I havent been to an in-person meeting since early 2020 Definitely miss them.

Congratulations on your 24 years sobriety Wolf! We are fortunate where I'm at as we have a lot of f2f meetings. I usually attend about 3 a week & enjoy them a lot. I am retired as well (since Apr of 2020) & life is definitely simpler now, after working full time for 40 years.
