It was on Mother's Day in 1935 that AA was formed by the meeting of Dr Bob and Bill W. providentially arranged by God, through Henrietta Sieberling and Anne Smith.
The embryo of AA was conceived that day by two men sharing about their utter futility of their alcoholism. They shared for almost 5 hours.
At the core of it's recovery from alcoholism, AA is still one alcoholic talking to another.
LEST WE FORGET that it was 2 MOTHERS who facilitated this meeting.
Henrietta through intercessory prayer and arranging the encounter for Dr Bob, and Anne for forcing Dr Bob to meet with Bill.

Thus began your recovery and mine.

The need for recovery, intercessory prayer, and the complexity of finding Dr. Bob and Bill W. is stressful. The eternal commitment tired me out.
