When one gets tired of the dust, from travelling on gravel and dirt roads.
When one gets banged up and bruised, from hitting dead ends, and running over big rocks.
When one just wishes to park the car in a ditch and say "Screw It"
Try a paved road...... There might be a few curves, but there arent any dead ends, on paved roads..... and the journey is a lot smoother.:)

Hmm. Try a paved road, eh? Why didn't I think of that!
Here I was, driving crosscountry, getting bogged down and high-centered in every ditch, gulley, and bog. And yet, there it was, the smooth, open road, all along--I had just refused to see it.
Thanks for the Canadian common sense, Phil. And "take off," eh? Have a good one. M

On the road again,
just can't wait to get on the road again,
my life, my love is making music with my friends,
Oh I can't wait to get on the road again. (Willy Nelson)
The long and winding road,
will never disappear,
it leads me to your door. (The Beatles)
