Part of our calling as members of the human community is to unconditionally love and support the people emotionally close to us. We have been drawn together for purposes wonderful but seldom readily apparent. We need one another's gifts, compassion, and inspiration in order to contribute our individual parts to the whole.Not only do we need to nurture and to inspire others, but also our personal development, emotionally and spiritually, demands that we honor ourselves in like fashion.
#######ROSIE....i think by now i am becomming *inter-dependent* rather than dependent or independent....i know i need others...SAFE others...and i am discerning and processing adn choosing along those lines......i see the world as give and take....one cannot overrule the other...there has to be balance.....i would like to think that my *pendulum* of balance is approaching the middle part.....didn't Jesus say "love thy neighbor AS you love thyself"??? i used to treat others SO much better than i did my own self....no more!! with healthy boundaries, and with realizing that *love is an inside job* i take care of me...i love me so i CAN radiate that out to the universe.....if i am a mess, how can i contribute anything to the universe??????
Self-love, full self-acceptance is necessary before we can give anything of lasting value to someone else. Selflessly must we give to others if, indeed, our love and support are meant to serve, and giving anything selflessly is evidence of healthy self-love.Selfless love liberates the giver and the recipient. Giving selflessly reveals our personal contentment, and it means we are free to nurture our own gifts.It's good and right that I should encourage someone else today. I will pay the same respect to myself, too.
########ROSIE.....hours and hours and MORE hours of *affimration* tapes and cd's are helping me overcome the horrible self hate/ self defeater attitude i had towards me......i absolutely HATED me int he biginning of my program.....how sad!!! to want to destroy my own life/self....but i did....this program has enabled me to realize that i AM a precious child of God, that i AM a precious gem in the *universal crown of goodness* and that i DO deserve ALL the good life can shower me with.....the more this sinks in my head, the more joy i get into giving....when i make another human being or ANY living creature smile and decide to *give life another chance* it makes me feel soo good.......when people tell me that i and my story inspire them to love themselves/ work the program......the joy i feel is tremendous.....i cannot undo what happend to me...i cannot forget the *old* rosie who was FULL of despair and wanted to die because in her sick mind there was NO hope of ever having a meaningful life...i cannot forget her, i won't forget her becuz that would be an insult to her!!! ....however, i CAN use what happened to me/ my experience with evil to help others want to live again......to help them see that there IS hope...that God is STILL the "main man" here on earth and that there IS a way, if we want it.......when i give now, i do it for the pure joy of it, and i give thanks that i HAD it to give!!!!! my *paybacks* are not of this world, but the world eternal!!!! thank you DONE......
