Time only moves forward. It leaves the past behind. Yet we forget to move forward, out of the past. Disappointments, might-have-beens, old sorrows stack up in our consciousness. We store files of old memories, returning sometimes to open them. To be liberated is to switch our minds from these duty old files in a second. Our Higher Powers compassion helps us deal with the past. We can take a tip from time - leave the past where it belongs .. in the past.

When you are aware and accept that everything around you is constantly changing, and that you have no control over 99.99% of it, you are able to embrace change like a close friend! Change is a like a river, constantly flowing and moving things around. The river of life is constantly bringing you ideas, people, situations - each one is an opportunity to be enriched or to enrich others, to grow and to learn. Change is the play of the universe as it entertains us in the biggest light-and-sound show of all time.

wow!! phil i love this!!! since i really began thinking in terms of *one day at a time*....i can stay focused on the now more easiliy.....i am in another grief cycle, but i am grateful TODAY for the support i got on my post.....GRATEFUL that i am going back further and further and to me that means i am getting closure on my pain........and oh yeah!!!! knowing i am not in control, but my HP IS!!!!!! so i am not helpless but powerless.......i do have help!!!!! i am seeing it today.....thanks, hugs, rosie
