In response to your comments about me being "weak", or that I'm "not a real man", or Dolls sarcastic commented on how "my disease is progressing nicely", or how I'm in denial, etc, etc... I have some news for you people, your lives don't appear to be all shits and giggles. Most of you who post on here seem pretty goddamn miserable if you ask me. But hey, who am I to judge...if spending countless hours in musty church basements feeling sorry for yourselves and listening to the ramblings of broken down drunks makes you happy, goody for you! What makes me happy coming to the realization that my drinking is just a symptom of the way I'm allowing myself to feel and perceive the world around me. I'll help myself by taking control of my emotions, my feelings and my life, not by begging some god to fix me. If you people really have this burning desire within you to help others arrive at this magical place you've found you really need to start practicing what you preach. If you don't any newcomer with an ounce of intelligence will see you as hypocrites and think very poorly of you. Have fun in your wacko religious cult :)

If you cant handle it-then theres a program called Alcoholics Anonymous to arrest your disease.

Theres no point in comming into this site, and playing head games with yourself, and everyone here.

Weve all been to the bottom of the barrels, and wound up in the sand traps. AA was the only thing to save our lives, and show us a new way.

Youre just not ready for AA bud. Yu need to do some more research yet. So-go do some, and all the best to yu.

I  just call it the way I see it. And you're right, my life is not all shits and giggles.  Life on Life's terms. However,  it's a hell of a  lot better now than when I was looking for answers,  confidence,  self esteem, courage, love and what ever else you can think of, in the bottom of a bottle. Now, I get to FEEL what I FEEL!  And it's awesome!

Who or what gives you the authority to diagnose anyone's mental or emotional state? You're a mess buddy...you aren't even working the program that you claim you are. You're an arrogant fool and if your not careful that "know it all have all the answers" attitude will land you right back at the bottom of a bottle on skid row again...which I'm sure isn't that far back in your past. Im not judging you Mctaggart. Im looking at myself in a mirror, when I first came into the programm of AA 21 years ago. --the rest of it is life on lifes terms buddy. I thought I had all the answers for everything--hell man!! I didnt even know the questions.
