Our struggles with other people always take their toll on us. They often push us to behavior we're not proud of. They may result in irreparable rifts. They frequently trigger an emotional relapse. No battle is worth the damage to the psyche that nearly any battle can cause. Nonresistance is the safer way to chart our daily course.
#####ROSIE...for me it was more struggling with life and life's events...trying to control/ not feel helpless/ to force my will on how i want it to be........people to an extent as well, but life was the thing i fought more........i remember reading florence schovel schinn's book "game of life" how resistance was hell, and how the ancient chinease taught "non resistence" now that i practice that theory better, life is more peacefull, stuff does not fight me as bad....once i release the karma, accept that i am powerless, and detach or walk away, i am releasing the karma from me and allowing the universe to come into it.......i used to fight and resist everything to avoid the **utter helplessness* i had in that awful home i grew up in!!! i was a child with no choice, not even over my own body.....so i devoloped **resisting/ fight it* to try and not allow that to happen to me again.....not realizeing that there are some things i just have NO control over....so i have to *give it up--walk away--* after i have tried diferent ways of getting aroudn it.....when all fails.....WALK AWAY!!!
Bowing with the wind, flowing with the tide, eases the steps we need to take, the steps that will carry us to our personal fulfillment. Part of the process of our growth is learning to slide past the negative situations that confront us, coming to understand that we are in this life to fulfill a unique purpose. The many barriers that get in our way can strengthen our reliance on God if we'll let them. People or situations need never thwart us. We will profit from taking all experiences in our stride. The course we travel is the one we chart. The progress we make toward our life goals is proportionate to the smoothness of our steps.I will flow with the tide. It will assuredly move me closer to my destination
######ROSIE....yes, like the willow tree who bends in the wind....instead of being uprooted, it just bends over the the winds pass over it....i want to be the little flexible willow tree--rather than the mighty oak, which stands tall AND rigid......after a strong wind storm, which tree is still standing??? the willow........when negative situations confront me, i apply the program tools, and there is always steps 1,2,3.... i can give it up!!! walk away.....more and more, i look to the source to guide me through the challenges.......i too believe that people/ life does not have to beat me down....after beating my head against the wall so many times for so many years, its a relief for me to know that the sky is not gonna colapse on me if i "walk away".......yep, i am going with the flow......if i can make it this far as badly as i was fighting it...imagine how much SMOOTHER the path is gonna be now that i am giving it **non resistence* thank you DONE
