I have not posted here in a couple of weeks. I am still drinking, but not as much. I am going to be going to a conference in Washington DC this coming weekend. When I return I am probably going to check in to a detox center to get over my withdrawal effects and get off the beer. I would do it sooner, but this conference is a Marine Aquarium conference and most of the people party day and night. I don't want to go throug detox and then be tempted by seeing people partying everywhere I go in the Hotel. I will continue to check in and will let you know when I go into the detox center. Hopefully I will have internet access while I am there because I will really need your support while going through it.
I will talk to you all later. My wife and I are heading to the lake that is 1/4 mile from my house to go fishing.

The past couple of days have been really hard on me. I am going through the withdrawal effects of coming off my Lexipro, and I am out of the Xanax that was helping me with the alcohol withdrawal. I am going to try to get some more Xanax to get me through this conference this weekend, but I have a feeling I am going to be sick if I don't get some. I feel like my new mental health professional left me high and dry by not refilling ANY of my meds. I am coming down from too many things at once and my body is really taking a beating as a result. If I don't get something to help me feel better before going into detox I am going to have to skip out on the trip and throw away several hundred dollars in reservations.
