Just wanted to update ya'll on what has been going on here. Thursday night I was on the PC, replying to someones post, don't remember who's. I never did finish it. My husbands probation officer knocked on my door looking for him, I told them to go back to his house. I went back, he wasn't there, he'd been there all day, but it was 10 o'clock and he was gone. They had come to check on him because he had missed 2 weeks of required meetings, and their computer had finally flagged it.I told her I wondered when she was going to start checking?
The next day, I told him they had been looking for him, he got ready and went in. He is jail now and will be send to state treatment in 5 to 7 days. His P.O. told me he had said he wanted to wait because he was helping me move, not true. She even ask me if it was going to be a hardship for me if they send him now. I said no, it would be a relief, I was tired of watching him try to kill himself.
I am just glad he is not on the streets anymore. I pray he will be safe, and that his withdrawals are not too bad. I know this is his story, his journey, but as I've said many times , it's so hard to watch some one you love killing themselves.
I'm still moving, but had a twist thrown at me last Sunday. I was given a double-wide mobile home on 2 lots, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, fireplace, was I in shock for a few days. Now, I'm trying to decide if I should move in or sell it. The person who gave it to me said I could do whatever I wanted to do with it. It needs some repairs made,soooo...I'm praying and still scratching my head. Okay God...how do you do these things?
Everyone have a great sober evening and keep your heads up.I'm praying for each one of you...please continue to pray for me.
