Each of us at some time has known the feeling of not belonging; the painful emptiness of feeling left out. We've stood on the sidelines longing to be invited into what we think is some sort of magical circle. If only they would ask us in, we think, we'd be transformed--we'd be somebody then.
But look around. The circle is composed of people just like us: insecure at times, frightened, unsure. They have felt anxiety and feared rejection just as we have.
The pain will pass, and if we use these times to get to know and understand ourselves a bit better, we'll be better able to understand others when they're feeling left out and lonely. And when it's our turn to choose a team or send a valentine, we'll remember.

I think we can all relate in some way or another what was written.
What amazes me about AA is that...We are all so similiar in our thinking, actions, and behaviors.
I've been drinking on and off since last Thursday. Around 10:00 P.M. I popped open my first beer, and drank by myself until 3:00 A.M.
Last Thursday I was Trying to respond to Wendy...She was feeling exactly like I was, and just wanted her to know she wasn"t alone. We could possibly support each other.
Phil thought "window pain" would be a good name for me Kitty. I've been throwing around the name 'Phylis', ever since.
Gammy Rose, I tried 3 times to send her a private message...she's been on my mind.
Now dont get me wrong...all this is not being used as an excuse for my picking up that beer. I just became very weak!!
Today is a new day.
I have been emberassed to come back. But I figured "what the hell...I have nothing to lose...just lots to gain if I just "do what I'm suposto do", and just take care of businness.

The BB says some paths are harder to follow.
I know u feel-- been there--don't beat yourself up--just get back and use the lesson
