As you continue to attend meetings you will find many more, that you will be able to identify with--you will meet new freinds--and you will become a part of something that is huge,- you will get a feeling of belonging--you will gain self confidence in yourself--and start to feel human. and be able to say "My God!! Im doing this sober" :)

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. It is currently 1:30AM and I am having to stay up to keep the dogs calm. There is a thunderstorm moving through the area and they were beating down the bedroom door. My wife has to get up in 3 hours so I am keeping them distracted so she can sleep. I am eating a midnight snack and drinking water (not beer!).

Well-my freind --its 130 in the morning, and I have no idea what Im doing up.
I dont have a dog. The cats asleep.--- I guess Ile go out and look for a dog. hahaha

Damn...I was up at 1:30 this morning. My dog was sleeping, likes to chew...chewed up a pair of my glasses sitting right in the same room with me. Should of known that chomping I was hearing wasn't his chew toy!!
Never was much of an animal lover...Watched my sister get mauled by a dog, she's ok...got some stitches in her head...finally got over my fear...love my black lab(8 months old)named him Chance...got him from the pound, Figured I was taking a chance with him. ...Cats were always too sneaky for me...About 2 months ago this litlle black kitty came out of nowhere and is on my front porch. No Mama anywere, Guess who"s his Mama?...Outside cat for sure. Took out my kitchen screen winow and thats where she eats and sleeps...still working on a name until someting seems to fit.
God sent me these creatures...I just know it!!!!!! We are way out here in Gods country...miles from nowhere!!!!!!Finally accepting I'll be here for a-while.
