hi guys.  i had bee clean for 2 whole weeks!!!  but yesterday i blew it and now i feel really bad because i lost all that time i accomplsihed.

Relax...let go of feeling bad. Maybe it was practice for now...do you want to stay sober?

yes of course.  ive been trying to give it up for a while now.  first i thought i would just give up being an alcoholic, but still have the bedtime wine or the afternoon drink with the guys but about last month i decided i didnt want to touch any of it ever again.  then like i said, the last 2 weeks ive been clean and everything about my life just seemed to be going so much better and then yesterday i blew it.

Ok...just for today don't drink. Call the AA number in the local phone book and ask for a meeting. Ask for wahtever you need...ride to the meeting, home visit, whatever. If it is an answering service, leave your number. Someone WILL call you back.

staying sober is impossible on your own if your a alkie.get to aa and get a sponcer read the big book and with lots of work you can do it .   i know because i could not do it either.  you will have to chang your playmates and playgrounds,not easy . but if you want it bad enough dreams will come true . god bless you wagon

Don't beat yourself up, Haze.

I blew close to 40 days just a week back! Was really pissed at myself. But that feeling subsides and it's made me more determined to "make it" .

Keep coming here. There are some awesome folks on this board.
