It sounds like an excuse...Having a vehicle to do some running around is a mayor hassle. Not to mention the poor thing isnt running too good.
Going to kill lots of "birds with one stone".
The biggest bird is finally attending an AA meeting. I must admit I am truly looking forward to it. My research on the internet has been endless for this past month or so. Its been well worth it...its time to meet some folks face to face . Praying to eventually hook up with someone who lives out here in Gods Country. Hoping to work something out to get a ride to more meetings until I get my own car
Going for an MRI, docs seem to think my disks in my back are screwed up.
And for my favorite past time "Garage sales here I come".
My grandma got me hooked at the ripe ole age of 17.
Thanks so much for all your support!!!!!!!!
I've come to care for ya'll !!!!!!!
Keep Ya Posted.
Take Care

Kool NancyJo, if you think the online meetings are something, just wait until you walk through the doors of your first f2f meeting, boy I sure would like to be there.

Hi Nancy jo. Well done on finding a meeting. You may find that you get very emotional. Don't worry about it. You are with friends.
I rember my first meeting, I was terrified of going and when I finally got there found that I knew most of the people (10 years working in bars). The face to face really helps and you will meet some great people.
Best of luck to you.
Chris.

Hey All,
Thanks for the replys about going to my first meeting.Appreciate it!
I was a little nervous at first, when I raised my hand to announce it was my first time there I felt so welcome.
The topic was "choices"...I am so gratefull to have the choice between continueing to stay a drunk... Or to have the choice to be involved in AA...work the steps, and go to meetings. Thank You God for that choice!!!!!!!!!!! Recieved a phone # and plan to make a call if needed.
Gammy:
I've had back problems for some time. Had my own cleaning business for 15 years, all the work took a toll on my back. I was diagnoised with sciataca( damaged nerve in my lower back).
Went 4 wheeling, as we were climbing up a hill, the 4 wheeler stalled and I slid off the back on my ass. OUCH!!
6 weeks ago I slipped and fell in the shower. Once again landed on my ass!!!!!
Cant deal with the pain anymore.. Nothing I do...Hot baths, pain pills, ...seem to relieve the pain. The pain runs across my lower back,...down my legs... and my feet cramp up. Talk about a "charlie horse".
Hey guys,
Its finally happening, Going to my first meeting.
