Hi ,i am alcoholic.I relalapsed after 13 years sobriety, and I feel the craving again ,I cannot stop .I need help now because I feel lost. Can anyone help me now. Dee
I guess its a matter of putting the drink down-and starting a new day Hu?
Meetings and more meetings--and one day at a time. --and just for today. Try not to beat yourself up over it and do what yu gotta do for you, our freind.:)
Have you called AA answering service in your area-or another person in AA?
Gotta take that next step.:)

hi Dee and welcome,
we are here for you, and yes first things first, from this moment in today don't drink, call someone, go to detox if you have to. Keep posting here there is usually someone close by to talk to.
you matter, you are worth the fight, what you did yesterday doesn't matter today.
all we have is today, a choice, you can do it.
keep coming back, we need you!
your friend in recovery, Wendy

Welcome Dee,You have found a great group of people, keep posting. There is a lot of experience, strength and hope here.
One day at a time, that's the only way we do this. You already know that.

Have sent email, hope it helps.
We all have relapsed at some time (I think) think of it as a learning process. NO progress without learning. No learning without progress! Alcohol is bad for us, we have all descovered this before. Sometimes we just need a reminder of how bad it is!
If you can manage 13 years your doing better than me so far. stick with the sobriety my friend i believe it's worth it.
Best wishes.
Chris.

HEY DEE
I RELAPSED TOO. PICKED UP A DRINK AND DRANK FOR 4 DAYS PRETTY MUCH DAY AND NIGHT.
CONTINUED TO PRAY FOR HELP. HAD A AA BUDDY UP WHILE I WAS STILL DRUNK.
I FINALLY GOT A LITTE BREAK IN THE SPREE AND JUMPED ON TO IT.
WENT TO 2 MEETINGS EARLY AND STAYED LATE.
ADMITTED WHAT HAPPENED FIRST THING, BEFORE I HAD AN EXCUSE NOT TO.
IT WAS RECIEVED WITH OPEN ARMS
YOU'VE DONE GOOD 13 YEARS--- JUST GET BACK TO IT
I RELAPSED 2 TIMES THE FIRST TIME WAS AFTER 6 + YEARS AND IT TOOK ME 7 YEARS TO WALK BACK IN. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN, KEEP PRAYING OR START READ COME HERE ETC.
THE 2ND RELAPSE WAS THESE 4 DAYS OF HELL
COME BACK AND BEST TO YA
YOU GOTTA STOP AND PUT THE DRINK DOWN
ONE DAY AT A TIME
I'M ONLY ON DAY 3
IT CAN BE DONE
