Hi I'm new here, a recovering alcoholic. I'm only 26 and have had some rough times with alcohol. Some nights I would get so wasted that I'd end up wetting my pants. yeah that's right, a grown man peeing himself. God it was horrible, totally embarrassing! Just wondering if anyone else ever had this happen to them or was I just some kind of incontinent freak??
Oh, now I could elaborate on this...but I won't - because folks might be eating, and somewhere along the line I picked up my dignity again. Yes, I relate. Glad your here.
Keep smiling

Howdy School Bud> Im a recovering alcoholic who along with Alcoholics Anonymous and the great people that belong to it, have not had that happen in a number of days.
However-when I was drinking, and became a slave to alcohol, I had the misfortune of having those accidents happen a few times--plus many other incidents that were not very pleasant-like divorces--jails-all that fun stuff.--and be saying to myself "What the "H" happened??"
Also--when I drank-Ide break out in spots. um--Florida dog tracks--Vancouver jails--spots all over the map.
Over a period of real downers-finally came to accept and realize that I was addicted to alcohol, and had to do something about it.
Well-you can draw your own conclusions.
I joined AA-started going to meetings and learned one day at a time how to live without booze.
I dont regret it.
Your choice buddy--your call.
And the great thing about AA? The only requirement to join, is a desire to stop drinking.

Welcome Schoolbud, I'm glad you found us, keep coming and posting. You will find out you are not alone, as alcoholics we have much in common, one being wetting ourselves when we were drunk. As Phil says it has happen since I got sober, oh, except for that one time when I sneezed when I was pregnant with my son.
Glad you are here.

Glad to hear that I am not alone. No longer do I have to worry that I was just some kind of incontinent fool when I'd get really drunk. Since I've been sober, my drunken days and incidents of losing control of my bladder have always haunted me. I'd have to say the most embarrassing incident of this occurred one night when I peed the bed with my girlfrined laying ment to me. I could have died.
