I read this every time my ego starts growing up again
1. GRATEFUL FOR GOD’S UNDESERVED GRACE
2. GRATEFUL TO BE ONE OF GODS CHILDREN AND SOMETIMES THE ABILITY TO SEE GOD IN OTHERS
3. GRATEFUL FOR SOBRIETY, THE BIG BOOK, MEETINGS, AND THE PROCESS
4. GRATEFUL TO BE AWAKE THIS MORNING
5. GRATEFUL FOR OKAY HEALTH
6. GRATEFUL FOR THE OPPURTUNITY TO SUPPORT MY FAMILY
7. GRATEFUL FOR THE FAMILY TO SUPPORT
8. GRATEFUL TO KNOW AND BE CERTAIN I AM AN ALCOHOLIC
9. GRATEFUL FOR THE MOMENTS OF PAUSE BEING SOBER AFFORDS ME
10. GRATEFUL FOR THE CHANCE TODAY TO BE A BETTER PERSON THAN I WAS YESTERDAY
GRATEFUL TO HAVE A LITTLE SERENITY EVERY KNOW AND THEN IN A CHAOTIC WORLD
THANK FOR LISTENING

Just taking a moment to say hi to all you guys and gals.
And yup--that ego is a big one.:) I just carry a hammer around, that bangs me on the head once in a while and says "Get Humble, and Be Grateful" :)
Each and every one of you have a great Friday and a great weekend!!

Hi, gratitude lists are great. It's always good to see what has changed since we got sober. I still remember my first list, I think top of it was that my feet didn't smell since I'd stopped drinking! Hardly deep and meaningful, but it was to me at the time.
The longer sobriety continues more things are noticed, and more chances to give the Ego a good knocking down (without harming self esteem)
