Sober today so far.   I'm just thinking about today. 

Keeping busy.

Last night I went to an AA meeting and when I got home I prayed.  I surrendered and I'm hoping that God will help.

In bed last night I took stock in a big way.  For some reason it occurred to me that it was more unusual to lie in bed sober than to fall into bed and not remember (drunk).  How many nights in the last 3 months have I gone to bed sober?  5? 

Anyway, I remembered allsorts of things I;d done when drunk.  I really made myself think about it.  This way I could accept that I really do have a problem and I really do need to stop drinking.

One day our freind. One day. Pretty big step when yu think about it hu?

And yup-falling into bed sober is a hell of a lot better than it used to be.:)

How, I read your post yesterday and everyone gave you so much experience, strength , and hope I just thanked God for them and didn't post.

I'm glad you did the surrendering and you are sober. Glad you went to a meeting, keep doing what you're doing one day at a time.

Try writing some of your thoughts down on paper, I keep a time line going all the time, helps me to see where I've been and where I'm at today.

Keep posting , we love ya and know you can do it.
