Hello All, I'm new here to this board. I found my way finally !
I am in need of help and hopefully someone can .
I am currently without somewhere to live. I reside in Howard County MD .
I have been sober now for 3 yrs. I've just returned from some psychological counseling that I needed to have.
I've been staying with my mom but she is elderly and cannot support me emotionally during this time.
I don't want to stay with her. I would prefer to live alone as I am doing great. It's just that she's not able to
understand some of the things I've experienced.
I am sober. I have no mental illnesses. I am not taking ANY meds for any reason other than 2 tylenol for a headache.
I really need to find a place to stay while I get a security deposit together.
I am a Teacher/Private Tutor/Nanny . I work with special needs adolescents -those who have developmental disabilities
including autism spectrum related disorders, PPD, etc. and also those teens who are emotionally disturbed/at risk and
socially challenged.
I have excellent references and crim bakgrnd check passed.
I have a small job now but I need a place to stay for a short term stay .. ...
Can someone help me or direct me?
I would truly appreciate anyone's input.
Sincerely,
SheilA

Hi Sheila, and welcome. If I was in the same position, I would likely talk to my sponsor about it, or some of the AA members after a meeting. Theres a lot of help out there, and understanding in a lot of these situations.
I wish you all the best and please share with us often, and let us know how you are doing. Phil

SheilA, Welcome to the board. I agree with Phil. Have you discussed this with your sponsor? I will pray that you will find what you need at this time.
Please keep coming back!
