Thank u all on here that helped give me the courage to talk to daughter about

not being able to babysit the 2 boys.  Thanks Phil for sharing with me what your

Mom had to say and I copied some of what she said and thank u Cheri for reminding

me u wouldnt wish 2 babies in diapers on anyone. I was in ICU in 2003 not expected

to get out and I told my daughter I cant go thru that again.  Told her she knows

how much we love those kids but I dont want to be one of those overwhelmed

grandmas who is screaming and yelling at the kids I want my grandkids to want

to see me when I go over there or they come here...Thanks so much for your

much needed help....I also told my daughter I didnt want any hard feelings but

that I had to take care of my health......LUV and HUGS Busbe

Good for you babes. There is one person you have to look after and that is you. Everything else is a bonus. Children can be very demanding and selfish, or dare I say it, downright childish. Of course you love your grandkids, but not at any cost. Remember all those nights you stayed in when you ached to go out. Tell your daughter how it felt and let her get on with it. God invented grandchildren for enjoyment WITHOUT responsibility.

Happy Thursday Busbe. Glad to hear its all working out for yu.  Some times we just want to please others, and do what we can, but your right. We gotta come first.  :)
