Living one day at a time.

So last sunday me and the beloved were planning summer holidays. 5 am monday and i'm awake and have pain and can't urinate more than a teaspoonful. By half eight i'm in hospital, cat scan at 9, diagnosed with kidney stone by 9.15 and off my face on pain meds by 10. Transferred to urology at another hospital by 6 and under treatment straight away. Tuesday an action plan was decided leading to a rigid cystopathy under general anaesthetic by 11 on wednesday (thats a rigid tube up the penis, through the bladder to the ureter between the kidney and the bladder). A 7 to 9mm stone was too big to pull out so it was shattered by laser. I'm back home and basically peeing out the debris. Back to hospital for a check up on monday.
