This is fantastic Roman, ... Days ... 'days' turn into years before you realize it ... it's that whole 'One Day at a Time' thingy you know ... ... ... it actually works ...

KEEP Counting Roman . As Pappy said . Those days turn into weeks , weeks turn to months then to Years.

So what if it's Halloween , so what if it's ya mil's birthday or your birthday . IT'S Just another day.

As I was told , about Christmas , my birthday , ANZAC Day . Three Great reasons for Aussies to get drunk.

WAIT till it gets here . Because I am living One Day at a time.

Roman . I am 11039 days sober , that's 30yrs & 7weeks . YES I still count days , mine Keep adding up.

Yours CAN Too.

Rock on! I came to this site at 70 days or so. I counted days. It felt good that the number just kept going up! 8 years later...still here.

Think I'll stop counting days. With 3 months sobriety, I'll start counting the months :)

I'm counting the 6 days until my one year! I truly cannot believe the gifts I've been given by this program. It is truly a miracle that I'm sober today. Keep counting those days. They actually go by pretty quickly, ODAAT

Welcome to MIP Jennifer, ...

Happy you decided to join us here ... and CONGRATS on your almost one year ... as with me, it WAS a miracle to make that milestone ... for me, it seemed to take f-o-r-e-v-e-r, but then as crazy as it sounds, the years started passing by quickly ... (as long as I maintained the spiritual fitness they taught me in AA ...) ... (coming up on 9 years in February ...) ... and it was taking it One Day at a Time that made all of this possible ... it really works if we stay true to ourselves ... 'To thine own self be true' ... ... ...

Love ya and God Bless,
Pappy
