WOW, what a great article ... ... ... I don't think they left anything out ... it pretty much 'said it all' ... ... ... and yes, if you're on the fence about getting help, please, for yourself and those that care about you, please choose 'life' over the misery ... ... ... ask for help ... (we here at MIP will be with you every step of the way ...)(if you allow us to be ...)

Thanks again there Pickle ... really good stuff ... love you man and God Bless,
Pappy

I scored 100% on those....not that I had any doubt I would. So great to have the internet and articles like this helping people realize that they may have a problem with alcohol as well as ones which offer help to those who want to change their life.

Great link!

Made me think of a pamphlet I was given as a newcomer. It had 10 questions to help someone determine if they were alcoholic or not. I answered them, said yes to 6 out of 10. I figured that's a "D" so I was free and clear.

At the end of the pamphlet it said "if you answered yes to even one question, you might be an alcoholic".

Damn!

I get it now though. Non-alcoholics don't think about or treat alcohol the way I do. Of course they wouldn't say yes to any of those questions. Even heavy drinkers (who aren't alcoholic) don't think about or treat alcohol the way I do. I hung out with heavy drinkers and the way I drank made them uncomfortable.

Drank them under the table did ya?

I've done some of that too. :)
