9 months today!

I woke up this morning with the realization that today is my 9 month sobriety birthday!  What an adventure it has been.  I haven't gained insight every day of this journey, but wow, my life has changed so much!  I can only give credit to my Higher Power and the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous as I continue learning how to live sober and to be a service.  God has used the people in the rooms of AA and in the virtual room here at MIP to show me a better way to live and to encourage me to grow closer to Him and to be willing to be of maximum service to Him.  Thank you all for being here and sharing in the fellowship!  Blessings to you all.

I'll be heading to my home group meeting later this morning to share the news.

I just remembered that I have heard over and over that 9 months is hard to reach because so many people drink again before they reach it.
