When I first came into AA, I thought I was like joining a AARP club with all the grey haired, false teeth, bifocal wearing old folks in it... Today I am just grateful that I stuck around long enough to have grey hair, false teeth and reading glasses, and to qualify for that other AA... RP program too!! LOL
I'm glad you stuck around too John, and created this forum to support others needing help where addictions have destroyed homes and lives ... it gives many people around the world hope where none existed before ... thank you John ...
P.S. I draw soc. sec. now AND I qualify for senor citizens discounts at most stores, LOL ... 'Beats the alternative, huh???'
